Research interests
My current pedagogical research interests focus on developing strategies for improving medical student engagement in mental healthcare and incorporation of best practices for screening primary care patients for suicidality and substance use disorders. My previous laboratory research focused on the neurobehavioral effects and mechanisms of action of antidepressant and other psychiatric therapies. I continue to consult on the use of animal models of psychiatric disorders.
